Philosophy

South Garden Press seeks to bridge the gap between creative expression and professional language in the portrayal of social and psychological therapies. The Press promotes works that diminish the distance between providers and consumers of care by framing personal and societal hardship in images that reflect hope as well as understanding.

Poetic imagery and metaphor in the expression of professional insight touches the core of dilemmas inherent in the human condition. They place the experience of human difficulties within every person’s developmental mandate to discover truth and love.
